By train and tram
Take the train to "Zurich HB" (i.e. Zurich's central station) and follow the signs to tram #10. There's lots of other trams and several tram station on different sides of the train station! Make sure to board #10 in the direction of "Zurich Flughafen" (later in the evenings it only goes to "Bhf Oerlikon"). Leave the tram at "Haldenbach" station and walk some meters back/downwards until you find yourself in front of the entry of house #16 of the CHN building of the ETH Zurich. Well, come on in!
By the way: you'll need a ticket for zone #10"/"Stadt Zurich" (i.e. "City of Zurich") for the tram. If you intend to use the tram (or a bus) within the city twice or more a day you'll need a day travel card (i.e. 24h ticket).
By car
We clearly recommend using public transportation as there's hardly any parking space nearby. It's a bit easier to find a multi-storey car park just outside downtown but be warned that they'll be expensive just like everything in Zurich is. The best call might be to look for a free parking space out of town and then take public transportation. Nevertheless, here's the way to the event.
Take the freeway to "Zurich City" and take the exit "Zurich-Aubrugg" towards "Schwamendingen" and follow the "Ueberlandstrasse" which will eventually merge into "Winterthurerstrasse". Continue to follow the "Winterthurerstrasse" which will eventually merge into "Universitaetsstrasse". Watch out for house #16 on the left just after tram station "Haldenbach".
The route from the freeway exit to the event location is about 4km long. You will follow a tramway for all of the route except the last 500m before you join the "Winterthurerstrasse".
By airplane
The Zurich airport is close to the city and there's flights from all over the world to that destination. It usually takes you 11-14 minutes to get from Zurich airport to Zurich HB. From there follow the directions above for journeys by train and tram.
